Objets utiles & consommables

Air bladderIf inflated, it holds enough air to substain a Medium creature for 1 round or a Small creature for 2 rounds1pa0.25kg
BuoyA buoy is used to mark a specific spot in a lake, river, or similar body of water, making it possible for you to return to that location at a later date. A common buoy includes a float (typically an air-filled bladder or sealed gourd), a 200-foot length of twine, and a 15-pound stone used as an anchor. The float is usually painted a vivid color, and may have a small flag to attract attention. Though anchor buoys prove quite resilient to normal weather and tides, they offer little challenge to intelligent creatures determined to sabotage them. A superior buoy has a spherical or ovoid hollow metal float (typically copper), a length of chain rather than twine, and a metal anchor rather than a weight.5po8kg
CompassAn ordinary compass that points to the magnetic north pole grants you a +2 circumstance bonus on Survival checks made to avoid becoming lost. You can also use it to grant the same bonus on Knowledge (dungeoneering) checks made to navigate underground.10po0.25kg
Cork vestThis fabric vest contains pockets full of cork, providing the wearer additional buoyancy. Originally worn by fishers and sailors, it protects against drowning. While wearing a cork vest, you take a –2 penalty on Dexterity and Swim checks, but instead of going underwater after failing the check by 5 or more, you go underwater only if you fail by 10 or more. Additionally, you gain a +4 bonus on Swim checks to avoid damage from fatigue. The cork vest can be worn under armor.25po0.5kg
Diver's kitThis kit is ideal for adventurers who venture into sunken ruins or half-flooded temples, and includes an air bladder, a common buoy, 30 feet of chain, a fishing net, a glass bottle, a pound of soap, three sunrods, a waterproof bag, and a waterproof hooded lantern with 3 flasks of oil.121po19kg
Diving suitThis one-piece suit of clothing reduces one's drag in the water, making swimming easier. It provides a +1 circumstance bonus on Swim checks. The suit only grants this bonus if it is the outermost garment, and has no effect if worn over bulky clothes or armor or with cumbersome gear (such as a backpack, large weapons, and so on). Damage to the suit (such as from several rounds of combat against slashing and piercing attacks) negates the suit's bonus until it is repaired.10po1kg
Flag, large (personal signal)Small nautical flags measure 3 feet by 5 feet, while large ones measure 6 feet by 10 feet. Most ships fly a large national flag (or "ensign") and a small courtesy flag (the flag of the nation whose waters it's sailing in) as well as a personal signal, but flag sizes depend on ship size and personal preference. Flags can be made out of almost any material. Cotton and silk are common, though any type of cloth degrades quickly at sea. Most captains replace their flags every two or three voyages. Ensign and courtesy flags cost less than personal signals, as they can be made in large quantities. Personal signals must be custom ordered.10po0.5kg
Peg legA peg leg is a wooden stump with a socket built on one end to fit over an individual's knee. Pirates who lose legs at sea often wear peg legs. A peg leg reduces your base speed by 5 feet and imposes a -4 penalty on Acrobatics, Climb, and Swim checks. You take half damage from caltrops. Pirates often carve hidden compartments into their peg legs. Peg legs presume that the knee joint is intact. If the knee joint is not intact, use the prosthesis statistics instead.10po2.5kg
Snorkel, masterworkThis waterproof wooden tube has a curved end with a mouthpiece. When you hold the mouthpiece in your mouth, the tube extends past your face and toward the back of your head, allowing you to breathe indefinitely when swimming facedown or barely submerged. If you submerge the tip of the snorkel, it floods with water and can't be used to breathe until you clear the water from it (requiring a move action and full access to air). A typical snorkel's length is about 15 inches; any shorter than this and it tends to fill with water when you swim, but any longer and you're not moving enough fresh air through the snorkel to be effective. Masterwork Snorkel: This snorkel has a valve at the top to keep out of the water, keeping it from being flooded from splashes or when you submerge. It also has a sump and valve near your mouth, preventing water from reaching your mouth and automatically draining excess water when you surface.5po-

Air crystalsThese unpleasant-tasting, alchemically grown crystals release breathable air when chewed. A pouch of air crystals provides 1 minute of breathable air. Placing air crystals in your mouth takes a standard action; chewing them each round is a free action. Any attempt to speak while chewing air crystals negates any remaining duration.50po--

Potion of touch of the seaYou cause webs to grow between the target's fingers and its feet to transform into flippers, granting a swim speed of 30 feet along with the standard +8 bonus on Swim checks and the ability to take 10 even if distracted or endangered. You can also use the run action while swimming, provided you swim in a straight line. This transformation causes any boots or gloves the target is wearing to meld into its form (although magic items with a continuous effect continue to function). This spell does not grant the target any ability to breathe water.50po-6
Scroll of monkey fishYour hands and feet alter to make you better at climbing and swimming. You gain a 10 foot climb speed and swim speed. This spell has no effect if you are wearing medium or heavy armor or carrying a medium or heavy load.25po-6
